SWIM COURSE DESCRIPTION
The 600 yard course enters the water at the beach, moves around two markers in the water (keep buoys on right), and exits water on the boat docks to the west of the beach. Run up the green carpet to the "Swim In" entrance to transition area.

USAT Wetsuit rules apply (water will probably be too warm in July though)

BIKE COURSE DESCRIPTION
The 15-mile bike route is an out and back course. It starts and finishes on rolling, twisting roads that are mostly closed to traffic with police and/or traffic volunteers at every intersection.

An ANSI approved helmet must be worn, and bike number and helmet number provided at registration must be visible.

Once the participant has exited the transition area at the BIKE OUT exit, and mounted bike at the mount line, they will ride through the chute in the parking lot, then up a hill to Lakeshore Drive, turning to the east (right turn). The route follows Lakeshore Drive to the east and onto William Street. The course heads east (right turn) on William Street at the intersection of Brush College Road and follows Rt. 105 to turn-around.

Participants will turn around at a cone on Rt. 105 and return back in on Rt. 105. Participants will follow signage and volunteer instructions to turn left (south) at the top of Lake Front Road and ride down hill to a DISMOUNT LINE immediately before the Transition Area. Participants will run or walk bike into transition area through the BIKE IN entrance.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO RIDING WITHIN THE TRANSITION AREA. Bikes must be walked or run through this area.
  • Part of the bike course may be open to traffic. Please stay to your right on the roadways. Volunteers and police officers will be monitoring the course.
  • Drafting on the bike course is not allowed. Race officials will be monitoring the course. Bikes must be placed back on racks before beginning the run segment.

RUN COURSE DESCRIPTION
3.1 mile course begins in transition area exit marked RUN OUT. Participant will turn RIGHT, running southwest along the lake on closed road and follows course marking and volunteer’s directions until the turnaround cone. Course continues back toward the TA, through a run out chute past the spectator village, and along the concrete path boardwalk, keeping to the left on the boardwalk, past the swim entrance, joining Lakeshore Drive at the Snack Shack. The run follows Lakeshore Drive until a turnaround at cone near the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Lake Club Grove Rd.

Run course returns on same course past the Snack Shack, the swim entrance, concrete path, through the run chute along the spectator village, and through the finish line chute. Bib number must be worn during the run, number facing forward at all times.

DUATHLON DESCRIPTION
The 1.4 mile run starts near the Transition entrance. Participants will run around the top of the TA entrance out to the turnaround near the sailfish club. It will be the same turnaround for your second run, so you will get a sneak peak. Run back to the Transition entrance and then proceed to bike and run segments.

AQUABIKE DESCRIPTION
Aquabike participants will start in their own swim wave after the Triathlon waves. Everything goes just like the tri, but after the bike you are done. Official timing ends at the Transition entrance, but you have to dismount and cross the timing mat like everyone else. When you rack your bike you can walk over to the finish to get get your medal, drinks, snacks and turn in your timing chip. Please watch out for the people that still have to run though..
